Breaking Silence, Building Strength

Known as Deevoice, Diana is a passionate advocate for mental health and a storyteller dedicated to shedding light on silenced issues.

In her groundbreaking book, Patches and Peach – Mental Health and More, she courageously shares her personal journey, transforming wounds into wisdom and demonstrating the power of resilience.

Through this work, she projects the possibility of rising from life’s lowest moments and finding strength to rebuild and thrive.

Diana has skillfully amplified awareness about mental health in Nigeria by leveraging the power of storytelling and film.

Drawing from her own life-altering experiences, including her kidnapping ordeal, she produced the short film IAMONE, which resonates deeply with audiences and ignites meaningful conversations about mental health.

As the District Chair for Mental Health at Rotary International, Diana produced the impactful short film MENDs, a poignant exploration of depression and anxiety that often go unnoticed within social and professional circles.

This project has become part of an annual tradition: the release of a new short film each World Mental Health Day, aligned with the global theme.

Her most recent production, SHIFT, highlights the mental health challenges faced by healthcare workers, offering a voice to those on the front lines of care.

These films are more than artistic endeavors—they are powerful tools for advocacy, education, and collective healing.

Through her work as an author and producer, Diana continues to inspire hope, foster empathy, and encourage open dialogue about mental health, bridging gaps in awareness and understanding both in Nigeria and globally.
